Oxford Hearing Centre is now sponsoring a trainee Hearing Dog for Deaf people. Fudge is not so little anymore (but still just as cute!) She has been working very hard on all aspects of her training.
Whether she is travelling on public transport, going in busy public places or even having her teeth cleaned Fudge is calm and doing very well.
Throughout her entire training journey, Fudge’s calm and adaptable traits have always sparkled through. Fudge has a lovely, gentle temperament and is happy to be around lots of people in many different environments. This is a very special quality which we look for in all our hearing dogs. Walks are also a brilliant opportunity to meet fellow fluffy friends. Regularly meeting other dogs is a great opportunity for Fudge to develop her social skills and practise interacting nicely. This is great practice for when she is on a walk with her future deaf partner.
